The mosque was built in 1363 by Sultan Murad I. The tomb of Murad I was built by his son Yıldırım Bayezid in 1389 during the 1st Kosovo War. The bathhouse of Murat I.

Tomb of Suleyman Celebi
Son of Ahmed Pasha, one of the viziers of Murat I, he was appointed imam of the Ulu Mosque. His death is thought to have been in 1422. A mausoleum was built on his grave in 1952.
Tomb of Okcu Baba
Okçu Baba (Nasreddin Bey or Nusret Pasha) Nusret Pasha, known to be a soldier, lived in the 16th century. He provided important services in the conquest of Bursa.
Hamza Bey Tomb
1477 Hamzabey Mosque / Tomb of Gazi Hamzabey, son of Malkoçoğlu Mustafa Bey / Tomb of Kara Mustafa Pasha, son-in-law of Bayezit II / grandson of Hamza Bey 1483.
